How you can pay
Payment takes place on a secure page hosted by Stripe, our payment provider. Which methods appear depends on your country, your device and the order amount — Stripe only shows the ones you can actually complete.
- Credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay — on a supported phone or browser, paid with your fingerprint or face. Your card number is never transmitted.
- PayPal — with your PayPal balance or the card linked to it.
- Klarna — pay in three instalments, available to customers in Italy for orders between €1.00 and €3,000.00. The boutique is paid in full immediately; the instalment plan is between you and Klarna.
- Satispay — available to customers in Italy, in euro.
We do not accept cash on delivery, and bank transfer is not available as a self-service option at checkout.
Security
Card details never touch our servers. When you press the payment button you leave silkissboutique.com and land on Stripe's own page: we receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, never the card number.
European rules require strong customer authentication, so your bank may ask you to confirm the payment in its app or by a one-time code. That step belongs to your bank and Stripe, and it is what makes an unauthorised payment much harder.
When you are charged
The order is charged at once, when you confirm the payment. Until then the pieces in your cart are held for a few minutes so nobody else can buy them while you type your details; if you abandon the payment, the hold expires by itself and the pieces go back on sale.
Refunds
Refunds always go back to the method used for the payment — we cannot send a refund elsewhere. Once we issue it, the time it takes depends on that method: a card refund usually appears within a few working days, PayPal and Satispay are typically faster, and Klarna cancels the instalments still to come and returns whatever you have already paid.

Collect from the boutique
You can also pay online and collect your order at SILKISS Boutique, Cerreto Sannita (BN): choose "Collect from the boutique" at checkout. There is no delivery cost and no address to enter, and we email you when your pieces are ready — normally within 2 working days.
